Mytyres Idea of rapid delivery seems a bit off. ordered Friday, got a confirmation today that they will be delivered on Monday. Giving me loads of time to de rust an old rim and finish making the bead breaker at a leisurely pace..

Took it for a shake down ride, after it eventually started... theres a bit of slack in the head stock, the brakes are going to take a bit of bedding in and its a bit 'woofly' but with the application of a little bit of throttle, its showing some promise.
Not quite MOTable yet, but getting there. I could probably sort it all out today, but I'm going out for a play on the Fazer instead.

Just me or the pics are gone?

Anyway (and you know this I'm sure) if it has the 6 pots, there will indeed be *a lot* of bleeding.

Better swap some 4 pots in.

    This? (Or similar, cheaper)

I've had the calipers apart and they were easier to bleed than the single piston +loads of twaddle on the GPz550, to a certain level of bleeding.. I'm thinking there will be an improvement once the pads settle in a bit and a bit more bleeding, obv.. I'm too much of a cheapskate to go spending money on stuff just because it's 'better' or 'easier'. Pics still working for me.

The fuel pump has stopped working. Well it works when connected direct to a battery. It works when a wire is taken from power in to the relay, and there 12 volts coming out of the relay at the appropriate times but the pump will not run on the power out of the relay either via original wiring or a shortcut. I have two relays and its the same for both. I am perplexed.

Yeah, it sounds like, but adding an extra earth makes no difference, and running a live to the connector makes it run well.
