    Is the hanging bolt rubber mounted? I have a guess it should be but the rubber has been omitted. That would lead to the exhaust pulling a few millimeters in the direction it broke, and reduce/remove vibration protection.

    I'd contact Akra as they should stand by their products and that, as far as I know, is very unusual.

    usually the colour gets polished off. Having seen Ti exhausts being fabbed, I would be amazed if that was done in a glove box.

    Me too and agreed- it's a nicely designed and made piece and a premium product, definitely would ping an email with pics into Akra themselves first before I did anything with it

    I did that with my Ti race fit, and they replaced it FOC, about 8yrs after I bought the exhaust.

    Defo contact Akra first just in case.

    I had a Motad exhaust on my Firestorm and the same bracket as yours snapped on the link pipe. I looked into various options, but then contacted Motad so see if they could sell me a replacement link pipe. They replied saying they no longer made them, but if I'd send them my link pipes as a guide so they could re-stock them they'd send me a new one free of charge. Ok there was something in it for them, but this was on a dual link pipe/exhaust set up that cost me under £200 quid new delivered. That Akra would have been a lot more expensive and should last.

    I've sent them a message on Facebook and ill see what comes of it, we have a guy that come to our works who does the welding and been told he can do it. so either way, sorted.
