On track Saturday looked a bit scary, the speed differential between riders and bikes, combined with how many people were out on track made it look more like a procession than a track day.

I'm not sure if the demographic of British motorcycling is as old as it appeared yesterday, but I only go to Classic Bike events these days, like you I've changed a lot in the 15 years I've been on bike forums.

It's better than the alternatives ie not getting old or not having the will to be an enthusiast of any kind. Only my opinion, of course.

That's why I'm getting out as much as I can. Just about to take the Suzuki for southern island tour

Given the choice I'd prefer not to get old.
At this point I'd be quite happy to live forever.

Given the choice I'd be 25 again stuck in a perpetual summer of 1992.

That's a great event at Spa... apart from the rain of course... I've been there four or five times and it's usually rained lol

Awesome watching Phil Read and other legends hacking round the circuit on fifty year old bikes at a speed I wouldn't do in the wet on a new one
