Anyone ever done a trackday there? I ask as I now live 1.3 miles from the circuit.

Yes, with CCM where they provided their own bikes. It was fun.

    Raced there a few times.

It's tight, very tight. Some would say it's more of a go-kart track than a bike circuit.

I liked it, but I was on an RD250 in the rain and got my best ever finish.

Had a go in a class 1 national kart around there about 40 yrs ago. It seemed tight even for a kart.

I have, its ok and there are a couple of decent corners but it is tight, and the walls are very close, round the back of the circuit was in a shit state when I rode there and there was no way I was prepared to push on that part but I believe its been resurfaced, its a million miles from Oulton park.

They do 'bike attack' nights, and 'charity ride outs' where you can turn up and pay 10 for 10 laps, so its easy to go and see for yourself without spending out on a TD, more info on the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/8177...92936/?fref=nf

When I raced there it was useless for anything over 600cc.

Cadwell could be a bit scary for a first track day.

It's still scary for a first time.

Every corner is blind. Most are up or down steep climbs. If you crash you might hit a tree. Or armco barrier.

But it's still my favourite circuit because of that.
