I've been riding bikes for almost 40 years and I haven't done a trackday, but I got a voucher for an MSV trackday recently. I've booked a Novice trackday at Cadwell on 25th June for no other reason than I had already booked time off work and it was closer than any other track available that week (it's still 160 miles away though). Should be interesting...

Did my first ever trackday at Cadwell.

It was a non-profit one organised by some internet group (Ixion?), my mate was member and got us both tickets, 50 ea.

You'll love Cadwell. It's my favourite track. You taking the Brutale?

The best way to enjoy your day is to grab an instructor. But MSV are the only company to charge for this.

Not good for you. But was for us instructors

Caldwell is the only circuit I'd come back to ride. I'd a few wins there in my day.

Have fun. My first trackday I was bricking it. In hindsight this was silly as it's only a ride out on a bike and one where everyone is going the same way and there are no cars/side turnings.

I've not done a trackday in about 3 years now, but tempted to take the fisher price bike to an evening session at Snetterton as they are only 40 quid.

I remember my first TD, at Brands GP - was THE best fun I'd ever had/will have on a bike. Had no idea what I was doing, and didn't care. Was such a buzz.

Ride at your own pace, don't get sucked in by wannabee Rossis. It's only a 2-mile stretch of road and it won't take long to remember which way it goes. Nothing's technical unless you want to up the pace, and nobody's making you do that. Enjoy!
