I wouldn't. Outputs from TT cartridges are tiny. Line out from anything else through the phono input would prob blow things up. Then of course there is the RIAA EQ curve

Jack it into any input APART from the phono/ turntable input. Done this many a time & it works fine. Fine enough for a party anyhow. Actually I did this with a mate's laptop into a technics stereo amp last week. Would be vastly better quality via a USB DAC, but it's party time, so only thing anyone really cares about is enough volume!

Not that I've tried it, but I don't see why phone can't also bluetooth it out to remote speaker in other room either.

BTW set phone volume to max & simply adjust via amp alone. That way no drunken muppet can accidentally blow eardrums out with a clumsy gesture on the phone itself.

Pretty sure that's how I had our system setup when we used to use an ipad via a CambridgeAudio A3.

well - I did suggest to try it a few different ways.

Bluetooth (IIRC) will only really cope with 1 device at a time.

Keep the phone/device well away from any party-goers, much safer.

I think the only three satisfactory options are:
    1)Sonos
    2) Denon’s Heos
    3) Yamaha’s MusicCast (the route I chose and am very happy with)

I just saw an advert for Bose headphones where two people on a bus with two sets of headphones are listening to one phone.
I don't see how that's possible. Is it?
