In Rufus did you select FAT32 as the file system?

Is it a recent machine, have you got secure boot enabled for the UEFI?

well I'm not. You have an issue with a microsoft operating system so use the free MS tools. I'd also use another USB drive & plug it into a different port. I'm assuming you don't have a DVD drive built into the machine, yes?

How on earth did you mashup your own password BTW?? That takes some skill.

Anyhow whilst it doesn't answer the whys & wherefores, a clean reinstall would have sorted it & been all done & dusted 2 weeks ago.

I still reckon you're up to something though.

I suspected peeriazu (#1) and mkaseras (#2) were one and the same spammer.
#1 has the "problem", we all offer solutions that #1 "tries" and tells us they don't work.
#2 offers a miracle solution that is the answer to all our prayers. I wonder how much it costs.

I wish they (he) would hurry up. I can't wait for the denouement.

Have you tried it?It didn't help me at all .

It is recommended that you re-create a bootable disk ,follow its prompts to burn iOS files to USB , click this link:https://www.tunesbro.com/burn-iso-file-to-usb.html
