That's a great problem to have though isn't it? switchable modes between antique, modern ballistic and 80's stinkwheels

My 800 triple pushes out around 90bhp (Tiger). I rode the new 765cc Street triple last week - about 118bhp and that was a peach, the MV should be very enjoyable

The Brutale and the Dragster are essentially the same bike but for me the Dragster rides a bit more like a sportsbike because it's been thrown on it's nose with clip-ons and the Brutale rides more like a Monster - so it's probably perfect for you coming from the Monster.

I expect it will feel very quick to spin up and will turn very quickly compared to the Monster.

I think they're pretty bulletproof, just check the gearbox feels ok.

I thought you'd put it up for sale ?

I canít wait to try it!

I wasnít able to get a test ride so bought anyway
Iíll ride before paying the balance just to ensure all is ok. With the low mileage itís covered and the workshop check Iím sure itíll be fine.
No doubt itíll need new rubber as itís bound to be on the original, maybe I should just get them to put fresh on now before I pick it up.

    It is.
It's currently in the shop whilst I'm away, but when I get back I'll ride it until/if it sells.

IMHO the Diablo Rosso 2 are perfect for that bike.
I swapped mine out for K3's and I don't like them, way too twitchy for what is already a twitchy bike.
So I'm going to sell the K3's and put the Rosso 2's back on.

If you were a track god then maybe the very twitchy tyres on a very twitchy set-up would be perfect, but for me I prefer to feel a bit more stability and at my skill level the Rosso 2's were like shit to a blanket but they also had all the stability of a good road tyre.

    Default New Bike Thread

Well I was hoping to have picked it up by now but during the pdi/service a rounded sump plug bolt was found.
Apparently it was a devil to undo, likely they crush washer wasnít replaced so had been cracked up tight to stop any oil leaks. (purely conjecture on my part)
Anyway that was the scenario last Friday. They ordered a replacement sump plug which was due to arrive on Monday or Tuesday this week. It hadnít arrived so they chased it up this morning to be told that the sump plug supplier hadnít received the order and had sold the one they had....
An alternative has been sourced now and it should be with them on Friday.
....just in time for my going away camping for a long weekend. ☹️
Anyway thatís the story so far.

Oh and I hate the number plate so am looking at MVA monikered private plates.
