    Hello to all I'm a newbie recently purchased a 1984 Kawasaki GPZ ZX 750 A2 having problems finding a CDI unit has anyone got any advice where I could buy one or is there or is there another option what won't break the bank ? PLEASE HELP ?

    Few on ebay, just search with the part number.

    Up to six month ago i had a box of parts from that very bike. In the end i could not give them away so they got binned. Guess what was in the box. Message this guy as he tends to always have a GPz Unitrac breaking or he will tell you what from another bike may fit

    Try Chris at Grumpy 1260 in Downham Market, he might have one, if not he'll happily sell you a Dyna ignition for one (assuming Dynatech make one for the Unitrak 750)
    Personally I'd replace the ignition with a Dyna or Ignitech ignition, as you get new components rather than 35 year old ones.

    By the way Kawasaki call it an igniter not a CDI.
