    Default Tesco Hudl 2 Battery

Mine is starting to fail. Ebay is awash with every Tom Dick and Harry saying Genuine. Any of you replaced yours and where did you get it from?

    Cheers

    Never had a hudl
but ask about the date of manufacture of the battery
you dont want one that's 4 years old.

    Pretty much that.
No idea what the current best bang for buck cheap n cheerful replacement is though as the Hudl's were good for what they are.

I dont use a tablet much. Its used in the van to bluetooth radio apps when away in the van or take advantage of free internet to upload pictures when away. No need for a best bang for bucks new tablet when this one is more than up for the job.

If'n you're just in the van leave it plugged in and save a tenner then.
If I was inclined to buy a new battery I'd use Amazon rater than ebay for a better returns experience should the new one be a knock off (not that'd you'd tell) or faulty

I still may. I am put off ordering a battery just now as i am contemplating buying another tablet and making the Hudl into my sat nav. I fancy storing it on the sun visor but my problem is weight as it wont stay in the up position. Even when it is down it wants to pull the visor down, being hinged on one side its pulling at an angle.

Both our kids had Hudl 2's and they were great but like yours the batteries were going. We've just got 2 cheap Lenovo tablets to replace them, in a deal they were only about 60 odd quid I think.

How risk averse are you? You might not want it anywhere that you're likely to head-butt in a crash.

However, any way of rigging it where the rear-view mirror might otherwise be?

Just over rear view is the reverse camera screen. I also like to just do a quick eye glance for a sat nav rather than a head turn. Nah the sun visor it will be. Im happy to head butt the thing.
