    If you get into proper carpentry with joints, you could do worse than investing in a router and table.

    And get a wood lathe. They're fun.

    Yes, it is true. The list could go on and on like Ariston - wonder what happened to that ad?

    Handy to have various sized round sticks to wrap sandpaper around for smoothing out drilled holes.

    Liked the comment about sharpening tools. An essential.

    Good look Adamski and I hope you enjoy every moment. Nothing like being proud of a piece of work you have made yourself.

    Oh...keep a lookout for Aldi steel corner angle braces. Can come in very handy.

    I have a set of tapered drill bits that have a countersink cutter on them. Excellent for screw holes
