And my lovely Ducati is now a write off

Time to argue about values with the insurance company then go new bike shopping ....... when i can actually move enough to ride a bike or get to a bike shop of course

Not good. But the fact that you're not is a good thing.

I'd have a quick chat with CBA or one of the friendly Solicitors at the magistrates court before agreeing value or even making a claim, it kind of takes the value of the bike out of the equation unless your insurance company are going to pursue the council? You might even want to see if there is a case for criminal negligence against the council?

Sorry mate, the LED's were too complicated to remove and didnt have time as the assessor has handed the bike over to a storage company far away who will break the bike.....the bike doesnt have cruise control either.

I did manage to get my daughter to visit the yard today before it went as i couldnt get there and she lives 10 minutes away and remove both up spec Comfort seats before it went and my trickle charger lead. The plan was if i buy a non GT Multi then the seats bolt straight on and make a difference on big mileage days, if i get similar spec they will be sold as spares

Yep, mines a 2013. Must admit, after the Explorer it has taken a few days out to start to enjoy it and get to like it, now I see why you loved yours.
    Cheers

    Mick,
Superb bit of kit and already looking for a replacement ..... i am just not sure on a red one, which i can get locally on decent terms, as i liked the difference of the gun metal grey one but can only find one in Plymouth so far.... the joys of looking for a limited edition colour

How recent/ old what budget are you looking for?

There's a very tidy 2014 skyhook with carbon and some other blingy bits on currently for sale on pbforum, 13k miles just had major service, £8995.

    It's red though...

Thats got some bling on it

Unfortunately in my current financial state i will be going through finance so probably buying through a dealer ..... if i end up at my local one i get a 12 month warranty on their bikes and they do look after me. The warranty takes me to the crucial time after i leave my current employment and become a cash buyer so the finance is settled and i can change when i like like some of you lot do ....... obviously not Couchy style but he is "special"
