I've driven with the family through rush-hour Cairo traffic so would hope to be able to cope with AD/D.
I've checked with the others for Tues lunch. We are getting in at 10:55pm (maybe) Mon evening so will probably want a very leisurely start on Tues.
Sorry to mess you about, but if we did Waterworld/Ferrari Weds we could drive down to Dubai early Weds evening?

The Lion, W&W taught me to beware of Turkish delight.

No worries, it's not messing me about, I'm here anyway.
Let me know what you end up deciding, getting about in an evening in Dubai is difficult only because of the traffic, we usually don't go anywhere after 1830 for that reason.
The drive from Yas to the Marina is just over an hour, that's do-able on a Weds evening, going up to Satwa would add another hour on to get there (traffic is gridlocked going north in the evening at that end of town) and unless you really like sitting in hot cars then you'd be fed up by then.

    Je suis arrive!
Enormous hotel room and the exec lounge had a better breakfast than many a hotel, so that's a bonus.
Going to do the desert dune bash / sandboarding / BBQ later today then head over for a day in Dubai tomorrow.
    pm sent Iccy!

Hope the lad survives the dentist!
