Polishing wheels? Best way?

When I last did it, I'm sure I used Nitromors to strip paint off and then use fine sandpaper to polish it up?

Is this the correct way?

When I last did that to a bike of mine it was a pita to keep them looking ok.
though a mates done his girlfriends bike and with the modern lacquers they stay much better looking for longer.
ive heard nitromors is much weaker than it used to be.
way easier taking off the wheels and doing with a bench polisher .

Like this guy, ex racer, who specialises in one-off jobs at very reasonable rates. You dont have to live over there, there is a thing called a parcel service

I did it before on my RSV Mille, however I can't remember what I did other than use Nitromors.

I can't remember owning the Aprilia, but I know I did stuff to it from the pictures.
