Wait what? Well if you haven't heard it, it's hearsay. What else is there?

A phonecall "the deed is done". Yeah ok. That's a recording of Khashoggis murder?? More like a record of some deed having been done. Not quite as compelling as a recording of someone being tortured then killed. Not that I would want to hear that but it still sounds as if it doesn't exist.

Then a bit from Erdogan saying how terrible "the recording" is of Khashoggis "last moments". I think he is talking about the moment after tbh. This has gone on too long, surely if there was a recording of this deed, someone who had heard it who isn't Erdogan would have come forwards by now?
Why otherwise would the Saudi Arabian administration now openly admit that Khashoggi was murdered in the Turkish Consulate?

    Your call.

Otherwise than what? Clearly Khashoggi is dead, equally clearly it was a state sponsored murder. Proving that is the issue and my objection is the tirade of lies, stories of fingers being chopped off, interrogations, torture and a tape to prove it.

Are you saying there is a recording then?

It is freely admittted by the Saudi state and is therefore not "the issue".

Are you saying there is a recording then?
    As said above:

A recording of it, shared last month with CIA director Gina Haspel, is seen as some of the strongest evidence linking Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the murder, The New York Times reports.

It comes as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed overnight that officials of his government had listened to audio recordings capturing the murder of the columnist.

    And it grinds on ...

Gruesome quotes from Khashoggi recordings published for first time.

A Turkish news website has published quotes and the identity of some speakers in two audio recordings revealing the last moments of slain Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
