More foreign cars have more mechanical failures, more recalls, more anything than British cars.
There are no British cars - other than possibly Morgan (and an Italian concern has a majority stake in the company).

There are only cars built in Britain by foreign companies.

I had an Allegro Mk3 1.5, full service history, bought for 225, it was a nice car to drive, but it suffered from rusty doors and the engine oozed oil from every gasket, but it was no worse than a similar age (1979) Ford Escort, 1979 Golfs were considerably better.

To be honest I don't care if we Europe ever allows us to have another one of their cars, if we have to weld lawnmower engines on to rusty old wheel barrows to get around.
Brexit will still have been worth it if only to piss off Tony Blair , Hugh Grant, Lily Allen etc
