Just reached the north of Denmark. Pretty boring in a 'pretty countryside but not much else ' sort of way. Soggy day, rain in the am, sweaty at lunchtime, rain again now.
Ferry to Norway at breakfast time tomorrow.

It seems wrong to 'like' that, but you know what I mean!

Sounds just like the start of our trip....... big mileage days of boring motorway and pissing rain as a welcome to Sweden and Norway.

The scenery from now on should more than make up for it....and if you can try going off the main tourist routes as the roads are even more stunning and the couple of speed traps we saw were on the approaches to small towns on the rare occasions we ended up on main routes

    Enjoy

A 'rest' day today. May go for a little bimble, or may just sit and chill. After 7 days on the bike my bum is sore. A day on the terrace sipping beer appeals, but at Nowegian prices I cant afford too many beers.

Only been to Norway twice and that was for weekends when my mate was working in Haugesund. Lovely countryside though. Found it very odd going into a nightclub near midnight and it was light and coming out at 3.30 and it was light. Night had happened whilst I was indoors!

How long is it? I did the Gotthard Tunnel in Switzerland a couple of years ago what was about 17km. After 5-6km i had enough and wanted out. Its the lights going past you overhead and sides that do my head in
