get yourself an Alpina B5,500 BHP 198 mph and you can get them for sensible money, superb comfort loads of toys and quicker than the Masarati and a BMW M5 34 MPG at 70on the motorway...

I have a feeling it was a very lighweight, sporty carriage.

I actually bought one (the VW car) about four years back but rejected it at collection as it was corroding from the inside out. Probably for the best.

Don't end up with a homo car like me!

I've got so gay that yesterday I replaced the yellow side light bulbs with white LED's to match the Bi-Xenon headlamps.

I do like a bulb upgrade. LED sidelights, sliver indicators etc. Barry them up I say.

I'm thinking about de-chroming mine, but it's all a lot of hard work and at the end of the day it's just a car and they don't wheelie.

It turns out for the same money as the 530d you can get a 3 litre diesel Maserati Ghibli. A four door saloon which would probably fit my requirements.

I assume it'd be running costs madness...... ?
I had the same thoughts about five years ago until I looked up the servicing costs and realised why it seemed so cheap to buy. The newer SUV looks better but it's an SUV.

It's not a name, it's a description. Like 'coupe', or 'shonky old nail'.
