That can telle at any time what is being accessed via my internet connection? So for example i am sitting here and can I see what websites my son is accessing real time. Maybe an app or a program or something?

Simple answer is yes, more complicated answer is how much money do you want to spend, how techy are you, the more techy you are the less it will cost.

The easiest answer is to use a cloud proxy server, preferably one with content filtering.

How old is your son and what do you think he's looking at?

You could install pi-hole on a rasperry pi,

    https://scotthelme.co.uk/securing-dn...https-1-1-1-1/

then look at the pi-hole logs in real time..

    https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/how-...e-log-file/276

There may well be other more effective ways, but this was the first one that sprang to mind, and it'd only cost whatever a raspberry pi runs for these days to try it....

    "pee hole"?

No wonder he's worried about the browser history.

It also does time blocking etc, along with GPS stuff for tracking location.

    App blocking, web info etc.

Yes, it's you, if you have concerns over what is being accessed then limit their access to those times when parents are around and can actively monitor them.

I had loads of trouble finding something suitable and I think I've almost found it (caveat, nothing is perfect)
I bought Disney Circle integrated into a Nighthawk router but it can be used standalone. It works at the network level and is not reliant on something installed on the device. You have profiles and assign devices to the profiles, you can completely turn off monitoring on adult profiles and control and monitor internet activity for kids. Any unkown device joining the network gets a small kids profile by default.
Even without the extra subscription I've found it great at giving me individual control over what the kids can see, it logs the history and I can disable all their broadband access with the app on my phone.
I think they are 100 on their own with no ongoing costs necessary, a bit pricey but much better than anything I've seen from an ISP or locally installed on devices.
