The printer looks like a rebranded Wanhao i3 plus.... and they're not normally much more than that anyway. Amazon have got the same one with Monoprice branding up for 224 at the moment..... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Monoprice-T.../dp/B06XXNWDD7

I've got an older version of it - the i3 v2.1 (not the plus) and it's taken a fair bit of tinkering and upgrading to get it to be reasonably reliable. I hear the newer ones are supposed to be better, but i'd still expect it to not be an entirely painless experience!

The filament looks pretty keenly priced though.... might grab a few of those and see if they're any good...

Dono whats good or bad Stoo. Just remember a post where others were showing interest in them so seen this coming up and posted it. If i owned on i would end up making lots of useless bits of shite like copying a pair or toe clippers although making a chess set may be kind of cool

Probably, yes (albeit I guess they still need a few metal parts.

But expect a 5 a.m. 'knock' on the door shortly after you download the plans
