My Makita impact screwdriver is awesome, way better than the Bosch stuff I used to use, its just silly how big the screws it can drive can be. great products, your choosing well.

I've got the same Makita circular saw, you might want to check what blade it comes with. Mine came with a 16t blade, depending on what you're cutting you might need a higher tooth count. Any blade with a 20mm bore will fit, I bought some DeWalt which do a good job.

It'll be for cutting up pallets and shelving etc...

I'm pleased with mine. Watch out for nails in pallets.

Pretty sure I've seen the builders at work using a Makita charger that's also a radio - makes sense, they have the radio on all day anyway so they might as well plug it in and charge their batteries too

Just bought one of these to maximise the battery sharing...

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Makita-DC...IAAOSwQYZW1cg4

    It's got some proper suction

Just had to bang in 8 rawl plugs and took 5 mins. No more 240v drills and cables and getting the Hoover out to suck the dust and stop it going everywhere.

2 hand held Makita 18v jobbies and Bob's yer uncle

It depends on what kind of work you do. I have both brands. I prefer Makita though and I don't why. Perhaps it's in some way more comfortable...

I've just added the orbital sander to the stable. It's great. And the 3 speeds make it much easier to use than my 240v jobby.
