I had to use the track-day voucher my work colleagues gave me as leaving present up before it expired! But it might be fun and the MT-09's got a bit of grunt...

I'll certainly come down for the day for entertainment, but riding isn't high on my list. Would be a nice run over on the KTM though

Could do it, I won't know until nearer the date, I've never been to Castle Coombe, I've heard it's fast and fun.

Good circuit - fast and bumpy! Last chicane before the start / finish straight is a bit mickey mouse though for bikes! Noise regulations are tough - doubt that a bike with a louder than standard end can would get through....

I'd forgotten the noise testing, maybe I won't be going, I doubt if my FZR400 (with a race can) will pass, or any other of my bikes for that matter.

Its 15 mins down the road from mine so if anyone needs somewhere to crash the night before, GP towers is the place

There's no pit garages, only a paddock area like Pembrey. Also. last time I went they had mixed groups not simply Novice / inters / fast.

@twids - I've still got your Gazebo stored in my garage! Let me know if you're coming up country anytime soon!

There's no point in having a classic trackday bike that you haven't got a quiet exhaust for. Its only the rare no dB limit days at Donny you'll ever get on track otherwise.

It's not that loud, as the can is quite long, I have got a baffle for it, but even then it's not modern road bike quiet, it'll pass an MSV track noise test easily though.

And 16 mins down the road from mine so I'd probably come and loiter for a bit if not busy

Hmm. Wet track day, seeing as I've got to ride up from Cheddar I'm not really feeling it. Especially if there's no where to shelter from the rain...

Hard luck mate, its been dry up here for a fair few days. I'm only 6 miles up the road and its as wet as an Otter's pocket this morning

At least I got to try out Rain Mode on the KTM this morning

Reminds me I've got your Gazebo sitting in my garage from last years Pembrey extravaganza

Shame I wasn't up at the crack of dawn as a friend is there with a camper and awning - if you do want to go up, message me and I'll ask Stu if you can shelter there!
