The gits at BT sport have just increased my subscription to £27 a month. I donít watch football or any other sports other than the gp.

Tried to get the price down but they were having none of it.

I am hoping that I can watch highlights. Does anyone know if highlights are being shown and if so what channel?

    Cheers.

Yeah, Channel 5 show highlights. About 30 seconds of Moto3 & 2. The rest of the show is for MotoGP, with little superfluous stuff other than the ad breaks, ie no build-up and very little slowdown/intervies/podium stuff.

Cool. I only watch the gp anyway and fast forward the build up etc.

I watch on Channel 5 but on 5OD. For some reason they don't normally put that add breaks in which is nice. Oddly though it also doesn't appear until the Wednesday/Thursday after the Sunday, which I've never understood.

There are ways to watch it live with the dulcet tones of Huewen and co via the interweb.

Fuck BT. They grabbed MotoGP off the major broadcasters and drove it into the ground. They are lucky if they get 100k viewers.

CH5 have boosted viewing figures and regularly exceed 500k. I hope BT lose their rights and we get to see it live on tv again or MotoGP is dead in the water.

The BT coverage is absolutely fantastic. 3 world champions commentating and show every single minute of practice and races.

    How do you find it?

I ask because other than the highlights on Channel5 I've no other means of viewing it. It's a real shame that so little is shown of Moto2 and Moto3 as the racing is often closer than in MotoGP itself.

I like it. The commentary team are good and you can watch the whole lot if you've got hours to spare. The big thing for me is I'm more likely to be out cycling on a Sunday so miss the race live and like to watch it on Sunday evening. I had BT Sport when it was free but if I missed the race then it wasn't available on their catchup until after the highlights had been shown on Channel 5, again often not convenient, so usually finished up watching it the following weekend. Trying to avoid the result for a week is impossible. The subscription means I can watch the racing at my leisure plus there was no way I was going to pay BT for it's sport service when the only thing I watch is MotoGP.
