    Plated screws perhaps?

    But really want to clean up the terminals. I assume if I wire brush or use something like citric acid that the plating will come away anyway.

    What's the best way to approach this do you think?

    Brass brush on a Dremel (if available).

    I'll give it a go, it may be my only chance really.

    I'm assuming it's just moisture corrosion, they came out of the doors of a 1990 Golf which had a nice stereo set up in it.

    I've got no idea what I want to do with them though.
