    Sounds like that engine was in a much worse state than mine, but want to avoid it going the same way before too soon.

    which seem to be from the same engine.

    I think the tractor the digger is based on is the Ford 1720.

    Anyone know of better likely places for the washers (the linked one don't have them in stock) and also anywhere I could likely get a manual?
    I imagine the Ford/NH 1720 was rather more popular than the Lewis Badger!
