I wasn't expecting to buy one of these, but it came up locally at a good price (cos its a Cat N). But it has Brand New Chain & Sprockets, Puig Touring Screen, Adjustable Levers, Powertech Race Can which is Road Legal with Removable Baffle, Crash Bars with Spotlights with no less than 3 different modes, Renthal Handlebars. Tyres are Nearly New as are the Rear Brake Pads. Comfy and economical was the brief and I believe this met the criteria. Everything seems dull after the Duke, but going to a scooter would have been a step too far, so I'm happy with this.

Happy Bike Day. Enjoy getting to know it. Where’s the first big trip to?

Are you named after the snake?

Looks like a 700 rather than the previous 750 too.

Three pot front brake caliper and linked brakes, I can't remember which makes of pads I fitted to mine (I suspect Bendix), but they were loads better than the Honda OEM ones.

I enjoyed my 700, but if never felt right when you started really hustling, just no front end confidence at all.

I'd probably have another if I had reasonable distance commute with no nice roads to enjoy.

Did you pay the full 2200?

Even with 30k on the clock that's a bargain, even is it is CAT N.

That engine is so unstressed and the tappets are a piece of piss to adjust!

Yes. It was sold on ebay but the buyer didnt show up. He had people contact him through ebay to buy it. In the meantime I saw it on gumtree and could get there first, but he wanted full money and not to come over if I wasnt prepared to pay it. I was and did, even if it was all bullshit?

I just checked outside to make sure you hadn't nicked mine and put a new can on it. NC700 manual, Puig screen, same colour.
    Still there, though. Good taste
