Just took delivery of a 1995 CBR 900 - a bit worse for wear and tired looking but cheap -I've wanted a semi project for a while and settled on a Fire blade because it's a 90's Honda and I've always wanted one .
I'll post some pics when I get the time but the main prob at the moment is finding insurance eek .
It won't be a resto project - I'm just going to use it for a bit until I get used to its ways .

Been giving it a further once over and a quick circle of the car park.
It's done 1000 miles in the last 5 years it seems ..lots of dust/ small white spots of corrosion.
Massive amount of crud behind the headlight and below the screen.
Couple of missing fairing bolts but I had some from my old VFR .
Chain v dry -some adjustment left though.
Titanium headers which seem to rattle a lot .
Some scuffs on fairing and it has some carbon fibre frame protectors which will need removing .
The plan is a quick spin on Sunday morning then give it a really good wash .
Service and a look behind the fairings
Solidly built bike though - lighter than my bandit
    And it's great having a boot !
    I'll take some photos tomorrow

Just been out for a quick spin down to Redbridge and back
First 10 mins were a bit odd but the the next ten were a revelation .
Goes in a straight line and holds the road really reassuringly
Lots of jobs to do but that's half the reason I bought it .
Heavy on the wrists but I prob wasn't going fast enough !
Should have bought one 20 years ago !
