    Rear paddock stand jack under the exhaust as already noted pretty normal. Bear in mind the exhaust goes into the head so you are not straining the fixings and being round they can take the weight. I would never ever jack up on a sump they are pretty thin to start with and not very strong. Use this for next time. Can't believe they don't give the NX a bloody centre stand my XAdv has one

    Personally I'd buy one as both Honda and sw motech do them.ive never liked paddock stands .

    Me too - mistakenly put the Monster on the front stand only and immediately put it down and put the rear stand on first!!

    Sage words. It isn't. Normally I put a chair either side of it and make sure the dogs are kept in. I have a paddock stand for the rear but it has bobbin hooks and the NCX doesn't take bobbins and i'm fooked if i can find teh swinging arm cup things...

    Really the problem is how to remove the front wheel without the bike falling over.

    On a fair few occasions, I just lie the bike on its side. Surprising how few parts touch down and they can easily be protected.
