You'm out of your tiny little mind if you think I'm going out in the rain on it.
Now if you'll excuse me a sec I'm going to loose the rest of the day looking through the Zodiac catalogue

    Piss weak Zodiac reference humour

    1. I thought you'd bought a Harley not a Ford?
    2. Zodiac Mindwarp does accessories?
    3. Is it an inflatable boat?

It's totally different to anything I've ridden before, even my old Honda Shadow cruiser, the test ride was the couple of hours ride back after paying for it and aside from the clutch being a tad heavy it's bob on.

114 'sit down & hold on's' OK fast it ain't, it's still being run in but it'll get to above the national speed limit quick enough and just sit there rock steady with no bother barely ticking over at 2k, redline is around 5.5k, for sure I did immediately miss the extra 5,000 rippums I had on the Striple, but adjust your brain and enjoy the ride and where you used to find yourself stretching into triple digit speeds you start enjoying the ride @ 60-70mph.

Thankfully the previous owner had got rid of the tow hitch number plate arrangement and stuck a yank one instead, with a black backed plate too so that's saved me one job.
He did also fit a sissy bar & luggage rack, but it's quick release so once I sourced a few bolts that's going on ebay.

The mirrors are the worst I've ever tried to use so they're going, other jobs include new end cans, new indicators front n back and fit a brake light, but no rush.

Some hate the headlight, I love it.
It fits me like a glove, it goes, stops and turns well, and I've never been so popular when I pulled into the pub to have a pint by the river
I really like that, what model is it?

And only 4 more horsepower than my 1.2 Hyundai. Probably weights more too

Still 119lbs of torque isn't to be sniffed at.

1st proper ride today, only a couple of hours looping around Hereford with a stop @ a b&q greasy spoon.

Totally different ride from when I picked it up (I was in convoy then).
Loved every minute of it, I thought I was going to miss the 5k ripums coming from my striple, but just twist the loud grip, wait a beat and then ride the torque until the horizon is in your face. Or if'n you're in a hurry stamp it down one and let rip, this thing can hustle, totally contradicts it's massive physical size.

When I picked it up I wasn't totally confident on the turning, it felt like it fell into corners oddly, but I've learnt that rather than subconscious counter steering I'm used to you have to get some muscle in the game, but when you do it handles like a dream, look where you want to go, little push on the bar, and you're there.
I'm sure it'll become as subconscious as it was on my striple, it just takes some energy to get them fat tyres moving.

This one is a keeper, not a keeper as in the striple which I had for 13 years but a proper keeper, for the first time when buying anything I have the sum total of fuck all buyer's remorse.

    And now bits are arriving for weekend tinkering;
