    I've had an NCX700 and a 700 Alp.

No ULEZ and the peak district on your door step, you can buy a house for 40k, which would free up some cash for the bike budget.
A commute too far! I looked at properties on Rightmove and fook me the old property quid does go far up there! But I'd miss summer...

One had been on my list for a while now, but job insecurity stopped it. But, TBH, I really didn't get on with the big front wheel on the XTR and all I read about is how top heavy the ATs are as well, so don't reckon I'd get on with one?

Currently been looking at XTXs, F800Rs, Harleys and a Sh300! How's that for diversity!

I'm keeping my eyes out for a cheap (<1500) 600 Hornet, but then I don't have to worry about ULEZ.

Riceburners BMW is ULEZ compliant. Has certificate. Lovely bike and I'm only not getting it because we have scrotes who like to steal nice things bombing around on mopeds with no plates in my area.

Tis indeed a lovely bike, but too big, heavy and powerful for me! I've always liked the 800R, but owning a 800S that was one of the biggest PITA bikes I've ever owned, has put me off, but I may need to scratch that itch now?

I do agree on the power side of it! That would scare me silly! I keep looking at the Speed Triple and thinking I want one, but again, it is a park in the road and hope for the best scenario. I'll wait until next year and get something if I have a garage by then. Have you thought of the MT-03?

You'd struggle to get a night in a Travelodge down here in the effluent south for that money

I have indeed thought of an MT-03. Not too sure on the looks and would deffo prefer a XTX, but its a maybe. I'm really warming to the NCX, but I always seem to be in the vibey zone and keep getting really numb fingers. Shame cos its damn good at what it does and I like things that are good at what they are supposed to do. I'm sure my 750 was a lot smoother than the 700. which having a balancer shaft thatthe 700 doesn't is quite possible. Might look at a 750...
