    Hi
I bought a GSXR 1000 K4 six months ago, my first bike in 10 years. Its a beautiful bike but I just feel it's too big in size for me. I paid 3250 for it and was wondering what other smaller bikes are out there? I don't mind a 750 or 1000.
Any suggestions for the same money? Must be a sports bike though.

    Cheers guys

Do you mean the engine is too big, or the bike is physically too big?

For no.1 I'd suggest getting a GSXR600 or 750 but I think they're the same size physically as the 1000, for a physically smaller bike you're probably looking at a ZX636 or an R6.

As above. If the engine is too big/fast then a smaller bike 750/600

If physically too big then....dunno. I can't imagine the 1000's are much bigger than the 600's I should imagine. The Gixxer's are pretty much identical aren't they? I mean there might be some differences but can't imagine there's much in it. It's not like the olden days when an EXUP was HUGE compared to a FZR600

It's the physical size of the bike. Years ago I had a Gsxr1000 k2 after I'd had R1's and it felt huge (same reason) and I didn't get on with it so sold it and bought a Duke 996.

I wouldn't want a 600 so it would have to be a 750 upwards but just wondered what bikes were smaller in size physically for the same sort of money

In your price range they're all going to be very similar. Your best bet is to find a bike shop with a good selection and go have a sit on them all.

That surprises me I had a 98 R1 and went to a GSXR750K2 (same frame etc as 1000 K2) and the 750 felt smaller.

Why not a 600, I have a zx6 after having a k4 1000, the 6 could never be described as slow and is more than enough.
