I need to change the M/C on the GSXR to my Accosata jobby. The standard one needs too much pressure and my wrist and hand can't take it.

Normally it's a straight forward job, but just wondering if the ABS will throw up problems. It's a big unit under the tank and probably holds a lot of fluid. I plan to put in Dot4 and flush it all through.

Anything I should be aware of ?

If you stopped changing hands at 99, your wrist would be stronger!
But seriously, if the accosata has it's own bleed nipple, then I would pop off the calipers and pump the pistons out a fair bit. Change the m/c, open the bleed nipple and push the pistons back in until fluid comes out. Then back bleed from the caliper as normal up to the the empty master cylinder.
A mate mityvac'd his fj1200 abs dry, took weeks to sort it out.

Blimey. That's so bleeding obvious. Pun intended.

I've always been good with brakes, but never considered that way.

But still wanna flush DOT 4 through. I think

    P.S.

I bought a 500 ml bottle of Motul dot 4. Put it on the shelf in the man cave. Right next to the other 500 ml Motul bottle and 250 ml Castrol dot 4
