OK so I'm a newbie and I have a lexmoto 125. (no laughing)

It has a choke which I'm getting used to.

My query is, once it's nice and warm and been for a run. If I turn the engine off and try restart it with the choke off it won't start. But if I put half choke it fires up?

Surely it shouldn't need the choke if its been on a run and is nice and warm??

Modern carb engines are set weak. I would be surprised if it doesnt need the choke unless its had its tits thrashed off for an hour or so.

Putting a bigger pilot jet in would sort this out.
You might get away with adjusting the mixture screw, if it's at the back of the carb screw it in quarter of a turn to richen the mixture, if it's at the front of the carb screw it out quarter of a turn to richen the mixture, keep notes of what you've done, make very small adjustments and turn the screws very gently as the ends of them are very delicate.
