Pootling along on the M25 this afternoon in lane 3 of 4 and one of these wee beasties came along side and passed me. No idea what it was until I googled it. Seemed to shift along when he wanted it to the chap looked cool in his flat cap in the cab. 7 digit plate on it assume foreign but looked uk. Looked quite natty in blue. Reminded me of the old Quasar but a bit more aerodynamic and with tilt mode for the twisties. Wouldn't mind a go on one. What other three wheelers have you spotted recently. Including the white monstrosity of he who shall not be named [que animated debate]

    bit more info here.

If you were going to build that, why would you use a 660cc Daihatsu engine with 68/85hp over multitude of way more powerful and probably lighter bike engines?

Performance isn't bonkers, but probably the fun comes more from leaning around corners.

    I'd have one!

Volume production dontcha know. Or rather, lack of.

Interesting buying tyres for it - one bike tyre and two car tyres.

Powered by a Turbocharged four-cylinder 660cc, 16 valve, five-speed rear-mounted engine the Carver One goes from 0 to 60 mph (100 km) in 8 s and attains a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/u). An extremely safe and enclosed 'monocoque' cockpit structure seats the driver and passenger in a tandem configuration. The removable body-coloured roof panel, alloy wheels, sports interior and design aluminium accents are part of a comprehensive standard package. Each Carver One can be personalised through additional options such as metallic or special paint, leather seats and engine tuning.
In all fairness that is not bad performance so it will sit a 80-90 all day long and has car engine reliability.

Saw a mass of those Can Am Spyder three wheelers between Keswick and Seatoller a few weeks ago.
Must have been their club or something.
Would like a bash on one myself.

Looks fun, but 110mph on 85bhp is slow, it should be more aerodynamic than a bike, and 0-60 in 8 seconds says that it's lardy.
