I think my front seals have gone! Big oily puddle under the front wheel on the floor!

So I say I think they have, what's the best way for me to check this before taking it out for a ride and stacking it due to faulty forks? I know it may be obvious, front brake on, give it a tap on the brakes, but I'd ideally need it to have quite a load wouldn't I?

    Thanks.

Wipe the fork legs dry and the pump the forks up and down a few times. You'll be able to tell if they are leaking.

What Cheb said, you'll definitely know if they're leaking.

RWU forks are easy to replace fork seals on btw, you don't take the fork apart to replace the seal.

True, you fit gaitors filled with tissue paper.

I did a trackday with a leaky fork seal, wiped the oil off after each session and it was fine.
