I've owned this Fireblade since it was three years old, but used it very little for the past 5 years hence it only having 25k miles on the clocks.

5 years ago it was low sided at Cadwell which caused some cosmetic damage, the top fairing and stay were replaced along with a broken brake lever and the exhaust can.

    There's some very nice parts...

PFM ductile iron superbike brakes discs

Hel Hoses front and rear in red

    Carbon Remus end can

WP Three way adjustable rear shock

    Forks rebuilt by K-Tech

17 inch front wheel (to improve tyre choice)

K&N/Dyno kit with graphs to prove 120 RWBHP

Latter model Blade front radial master cylinder

Chain and sprockets are all good, tyres have plenty of life left.

Was Mot'ed 19th of April this year with no advisories (reg is R69OKH if you would like to check the history online).

    The bad bits...

    Obviously the cosmetics

    The wheels need painting

The battery doesn't stay charged for very long if the bike is unused.

I put it on here and the Fireblade group on Friendface.

There's a bloke coming to pick it up tonight!

Maybe I priced it too cheaply?

I thought it was priced a little high, looks like a nice bike, I quite fancy a Fireblade to make a custom bike with, more retro mod than resto mod, but as with anything it would mean getting rid of a bike to create room for another one and I need to get my Kawasaki into a useable state.

Yeah, I thought originally I was asking probably 200 too much... but it is quite low miles and does have some tasteful extras.

We'll see what the bloke says tonight, he started at 1500 and I just kept saying no (I'm not 100% that I really want to sell it, I've owned it 18 years!)

On the Fireblade Friendface group they usually change hands around 1600-2000.

To get 2k it needs to be a proper minter in the right colours.

The ones that on one wanted then they were new are the colours that people now want as they're less shell suit and more 'mature'.

I used to call it the fruit and nut Blade and they're often referred to as 'Cadbury Blades', but they're in high demand these days....
