Hi, looking for advice on this...my KTM 640 supermoto 2004 and 15000miles just started to make a rattling noise from the sprag clutch. So I stripped it, replaced the one way bearing with a new ktm one and it's made no difference..I have had it apart 3 times now and all gears from the starter motor to crank shaft look fine, no play , yet still rattles when turning over on the starter ..puzzled??

Noise coming from the large starter gear but has only very slight wear
Would this be enough to cause the noise?

Sorryy, I cant help by looking at that video. But one thing i remember about those engines was there was the clutch bearing that used to go and rattled around idle speed. Not that chattering is it? Check the clutch actuating arm for play, especially on idle, they used to oscillate if i remember rightly? Hopefully a grown up will be along shortly and can help more?
