Yup, loads of over priced bikes on t'bay.
I've discovered that the real bargains have moved to Friendface Market Place and Gumtree.
Is it me or do some people have overly inflated ideas about the value of their bikes? I get that someone is selling their pride and joy, but they want to sell it, not get laughed off the page! Whats worse are those who take what admittedly was once a great bike (and still is) chuck a parts catalogue at it and then want to charge the earth! Don't get me wrong there are some bargains and some bikes are going to be future classics so maybe people are right to expect a slight premium but there is some shite out there and it stays out there because it is just overpriced!
What say you?

'upgrades'![]()
I've thought this for a while, but was in mind last night when I was flicking through an MCN. There was a article saying what a bargain the Z750 was with an ad for a 19000 mile bike for £1500. And it was a bargain IMO, I loved my Z750 it was a cracking bike. But in general most of the Z's I see for sale are £2500 or more. When I think back I paid just over £5k new for mine and got something £3500 when it was written off at a couple of years old which I thought was an ok if not great price (I was more worried about my non working bits than haggling over the price). But that was in 2007! Over 10 years later some people think they are worth £3k.
