A while back someone was asking about them and I had just put a set on my fjr1300 work bike.
I must say for the price the tyres performed very well and much better than I expected, grip levels a very good it never let go once.
They give the bike a super bike tip in feel but very stable and I was surprised I got 8200 out of the rear and could have got another 1000 maybe out of the front.
I will say I do think they would work much better on a 600 or a lighter bike as sometimes the heat cycle on the rear after the motorway and lanes on the last part of my run where a bit much for them on such a heavy grunts bike, but never let go once just moved about on warm up again.

Would I have another set ?
At 125 fitted yes I would as once yo get used to them I had the pegs, exhaust and rear brake caliper bolts grinding out at times on the B645.

I taken some pictures of them at 8200 miles as now changing them.IMG_1114.jpgIMG_1113.jpg

My FZR400 came with a set on and I used them for two track days, they were fine when the weather was cold but when it got a bit warmer they over heated and look like they've melted, after this they didn't feel so good, but as a road tyre they were good, they gave loads of feed back and you knew exactly what the tyres were doing.

Which reminds me I've got to get them in the post to 1888

Yes the heat cycle is a bit of a problem as they like to slide a bit when you've got them hot and they cool down.

I was once heading down Hollywood, towards Craner with the revcounter showing 130 ish with knee on floor. Niall McKenzie rode round me and I stayed with him until the Old Hairpin. He left big darkies as he shot off towards Starkeys.

I later found out he was in cheapy Maxxis tyres.

    They work OK

They work really well yorick until they over heat and even then they still work well, fjr1300 has a bit to much grunt and weight for them really as it only has 5 gears too.
I'd have another set if I got them cheap enough, but the rear wears out 5000 miles before the the Avon storm 3D Xm so for 25 more the XM is the better tyre for me on the motorway.

Last week I paid €125 for a pair of Michelin dirt tyres fitted to loose wheels, delivered to my villa

I get tyres fitted for free if I supply them as we take 3 cars in to get serviced and as I get through so many tyres they say just bring them in on a weekday and well fit them for free
