Yes it was but then I decided it would be interesting to try and remember everything else (which wasn't easy!).

I award you the prize for the dullest list of motors, I bet a good percentage of them were beige?

Never has the term 'Damning with faint praise' been illustrated so perfectly.

Nope.No beige cars in there, mainly green, black, red and blue. The Toyota is in service now and doing the trick nicely. The Vectra was good for over 160mph on German autobahn, a sleeper car. The Fabia was a pleasure to drive, but had no ABS, which when sliding across a snowy motorway is not fun.

I just Googled and the most powerful Vectra was the 3.0l with 174 gee gees. Even that wouldn't do 160, over a cliff.

Limited right. Mine was admittedly on the clocks, but going strong. Decatted and good exhaust. All I know is that it was quick enough for me. Now I drive an old slow auto.

Factory limited to 155mph, but I didn't have enough road.

My 211bhp Mini will do 145mph.

    I really can't see a 150bhp Vectra hitting 160!

I think the Vectra VXR was over 250bhp and had a claimed top speed over 160mph.
