    My very first bike was a Honda CBR600 - on a G plate. It was in Benneton colours, which in hindsight was a ghastly colour scheme. What a superb bike though. I bought another in 2002, on a 93 plate. This time, a much sexier CBR tiger colour scheme. That bike was just 1200, with 7500 miles on it, and it is still the most fun I have ever had on a bike. I haven't had a road bike for some time now, as I am more into track days, but the old CBR would be top of my value for money list!

    Enjoy your winter riding! I hope you bought some good weatherproof gear.
