Young Scotty top in FP1. First time there. Top again in FP2.

Danny Kent is on a shitter. Only lasted 2 laps in FP1.

And to show the merits of the Superstock class, Bradley Ray was slower than his team mate on the SS bike.

Hoping he takes the BSB title before moving off to WSB, think it will happen

Redding blitzed them. Young Tarran said he'd be happy with second tmrw.

Did a good job again, hope it translates to race wins tomorrow. His confidence is high, difficult to see him not getting some silverware.
Shame about Danny Kent - how can the MV be such a shed? Getting pulled up for a repeated issue with a gasket leaking oil!

The only problem being he's doing a Rea in BSB. Paul Bird must be a happy man.

How about a straight swap - Bautista for Redding ?

Or is Redding in the better series - WSB with it's 7 week break is struggling to put 20 bikes on the grid and obviously can't get takers for the circus to come to town, stands generally empty, whereas BSB is heaving.

I hope he sticks in BSB for another season or 2 - reckon he will have a strong following and the sponsors will be fighting to get a piece.
Not sure WSB will be better for him other than the pay packet and world stage.

In MotoGP he was on 2 or 3 Mill a year depending on your source. He could earn half that in WSB. Nothing similar in BSB.

But give him due, he got a big demotion and is enjoying it. But it's easy for him. Next year it will be too easy. He needs to be in WSB, for the challenge and the money.

Just look at him now. For a long time he's looked like the living dead. Now he's happy. It's worth a lot more than money.

Watched the races last night on freeview version. Redding looks relaxed and happy. He is smooth and decisive on track and fast when he needs to be. Not taking undue chances and is thinking his races. MacKenzie was saying Redding is a class above and he is happy to be able to latch onto his heels and follow. Saying that, with a fast bike the lad will more than follow by the looks of it.
