Hello all. I'm completely new to this site. I have a problem with my all my Lights staying on after the ignition is turned off. I've had to unplug them once I have got to the end of the journey to conserve battery. First of all I had an inkling that water may of got into something. I've unplugged all I can think and cleaned and dried. My thoughts are that it could be the ignition switch? Any ideas greatfully received before I have to resort in expensive bmw parts.

BMW canbus systems leave your lights on for a short period after ignition off check your manual. Normally go off after a minute I think. My gs was the same.

ok. So have paid out and bought a new ignition switch and I still have the same problem. I have had the bike for 2 years now so I know it's not usual for the lights to stay on. Not sure where to go now with it.

What if you turn them off before the ignition. Think its VW if you turn key off with indicator on that sides side lights stay on.
