    Just got back from a weekend away, so thought I'd check my voltage drop after 3 days of sitting idle with the alarm on.
    Meter jumped to 13v and then crept up to 13.2. So going to take a guess that my optimate really doesnt do agm batteries that well.

    I think we have finally found the culprit!
    The Datatool S4 red alarm. Apparently it can sense low battery and do all sorts of clever stuff, but if I have it on full alarm mode for 5 days, there's not enough left in the battery to start the bike on day 6. So in the garage its immobiliser/basic alarm only, only gets full beans when parked up in town now.
