    Hi GuzziPaul,
    thanks for the info.

How do I "add earths"? Is it something I could do myself?

    Thanks

Dead easy. Get yourself some single core black flex cable 1 or 2mm a couple of metres will do and some crimp rings https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RANGE-OF-...N5wK1_vEGvi0nA You'll need M6 (10mm spanner size) and M8 (13mm spanner size) mostly likely. You might want to get a crimp tool / wire stripper https://www.amazon.co.uk/WORKPRO-Aut...508159&sr=1-12 but you can do it with plyiers if you want.
On the clip-ons on my Guzzi Ive gone from one of the bolts holding the clip on to the fork to the earth below the tank near the ignition. Attach one crimp of suitable size for the bolt you are attaching to run the cable to the earth point (M6 under the tank).
Have a look at the Click no Crank page on the Guzzi rider site.

You can never have too many earths! At least not on motorbikes. Amplifiers are a different matter......
