I dont often come on here or on FB, but did this morning.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.

I was in a similar job as Mark, but not for the Police. I often sought his advice on riding kit, and we discussed the pro and cons of what "work" bikes worked well. Didn't always take his advice though. Likewise, management in both our employers was shocking, and we both became disillusioned with the jobs we once loved but were prevented from doing.

I never knew he was ill, but then I wasn't a close friend, so glad it was kept in the circle Mark wanted to.

Never got to visit him and Marydoll at his Croatian gaff-dates I was there never worked out.

I am pleased that he took retirement as soon as he could, and he and Marydoll enjoyed those years immensely.

God rest Mark, and hope that the memories will live on for eternity.

Making 8kg* pesto today with our home grown chilli peppers, home grown garlic, and home grown tomatoes. Thinking of Mr.Tack and Marydoll.

RIP Mr T...probably one of the nicest blokes I never met. I remember the thread/blog of his trip to Croatia and was pleased when he decided to retire there...and actually did it. Lots of us dream but he followed his.
