I like a bike that sounds much faster than it is. Not louder, but faster. I'm not bothered about actually going fast, not now I have a kid.

So if this much mooted zx25r comes as a naked, I'll be very interested.

Already living the dream with this lunatic toy. A genuine do-it-all hooligan tool. Doesn't stop me dreaming, though. I dream of Norton V4s, CCM Spitfires, and MV Brutales.

That's exactly the kind of thing you'd expect to hear from someone who DID win and is now regretting certain promises....

Why not the 250, or anything newer, better, etc?

I find it interesting how many of us already own our dream bike. All old fluckers who have found their niche after years of playing the field

I don't really think I have one dream bike. Different bikes I dream about for different reasons.

My dream garage (without too much thought!) would be -

    2004 ZX10r - cos I sodding loved it!

1997 Honda Blackbird - I had an injection one but always wanted a carb model, in Black!

Modern Monster 600 (I will get my old one going one day, but the new one look lush!)

KTM390 Duke - THE. MOST. FUN. EVER. Everything I did on that bike made me grin. And I could pick it up if I dropped it!!

KTM RC8 - frikken awesome. Just awesome. No, I've never ridden one, but I love the look and sound and . . . and . . . !!

Trails bike. Loads of mountain trails I'd love to go on in the summer, but have zero idea what sort of bike I'd be looking at

600 track bike. Not really that fussy, just a 600 to hoon about on!

Brutale - OMG that I've lusted after from seeing photos on here. No idea if I'd like it, but I suspect I would!!

Weirdly, I wasn't taken with the 690 Duke when I rode it, but other bikes in the list would do what the bigger Duke would do

Soooo - now I need that lottery win that KFB didn't get so I can build a garage big enough to put these in. And the MX5 I'd like for days when I fancy 4 not 2!!!

EDIT: At the moment, the biggest 'dream' is that I'll be able to 'hoon' about on anything sporty, or worst case, stick flat bars on everything and manage a full day of riding

Thinking about it....if there is actually a dream bike for me it would have to be something you can't actually buy, or at the very least something so mad expensive I'm never realistically gonna buy one.

I would like a Tesi as I posted before, but I could actually buy one. As per the OP.

So I guess my real dream bike would be a Britten V1000. Or maybe an RC211V like I've already mentioned. I know you can buy RC213Vs and Desmos, but the original V5 Honda was so ridiculously exotic in my mind that nothing else touches it.

Don't panic... it's rolled over again.

    I'll win it on Tuesday.

Can I please put my order in for a modern efi naked vf400r (as opposed to a vfr400r)? I only need around 50hp but I'd like a mental redline so a 250 would probably do it too

VF400s and 500s were a bit shit, the engine felt like two Superdreams joined at the hip, the handling was nothing special and a 350 YPVS was cheaper and faster than either of them.

Yeah but that wasn't the question

I'd also happily take a zx25r with a big bang crank as long as it makes that v4 noise.
