I just don't get this, but as you like.

The single disc on mine was shit, but because they put a 14mm twin disc master cylinder on it. Fit a master off a cbr600f2/f3 and it's a huge improvement. Also fit hagon fork springs, and the bike will handle much better.

Mine had a Remus full system on it, dread to think what someone paid for that but it was pretty good quality. Original exhausts all rot at the silencer joints.

It also had red fairing bolts, red screen, red handlebar, etc. Can't win em all.

Overall they're not exciting but they are reliable, fairly comfortable, piece of piss to service, and very frugal on fuel, insurance, etc

I did tell him that but it's seems it's worth a fair bit less than he wants for the car, and the guy didn't respond to requests for age and condition photos!! LOL

It would be a deal breaker on a bike for me. If i could change the front end cheap enough then fine but you either hate something or you dont.

The end of the line model had thicker forks and twin discs. Should be a much better bike for that.

However I'd still say that (objectively) your issue will have been due to oversized master cylinder, so too much initial bite on the brake / not enough feel, so maybe locked the tyre up that way.

And mine would show a clean pair of heels to many a superbike dancing with traffic in London!
