Like my other new thread says, I've just seen Alice Cooper in concert at Leeds. Mind-blowing showmanship, great rock/rock and roll music and hugely entertaining. Having seen John Fogerty a year ago, he of Creedence Clearwater Revival, still performing at about 75, it is amazing that the rock-star lifestyle has allowed so many to continue rocking away into their very senior years.
    My list:
    John Fogerty
    Mick Jagger/Keith Richards
Chuck Berry RIP but was still performing concerts in his nineties!
    Rod Stewart
Cliff Richard! Yes, yes, I know! ; but he is still performing aged 80 this year..!
    Tina Turner
Cher 73 this year and perfoming in the UK for the first time this eek it said on the Beeb today. [= 30th October]
How old is Clapton now? Getting on a bit for sure?

So who have I forgotten and how the hell have they survived?

    Over to you!

Leonard Cohen was 82 when he pegged it, and still working. B B king was still on the road at 88.

For me the term Peter Pan has other connotations but some of the Rolling Stones fit for that as well.

Yes...I was in Newcastle Emlyn a few weeks ago and saw a flyer advertising an evening with R T....after going googly eyed and trying to persuade SWMBO'd to come (NO!) I realised it was a year ago.....(fairly typical round here..if its something you want to go to....its already happened and no-one told you).
