This year I will be doing the Saturday the 6th of June at Cadwell and Saturday the 15th of August at Cadwell on my FZR400 (unless it expires before then), I'm also thinking of doing the VJMC day at Castle Coombe on the 2nd of May.

I've also got Snetterton booked for Monday the 30th of March but that's just a normal MSV day

All of them I'm going in Novice because I really can't be arsed with the egos in the faster groups, I'm slow and at 53 I'm not going to get any quicker.

I'm just up the road from Combe, you're more than welcome to stay over the night. Is the first a VJMC day?

The 1st of May is a standard Classic Bike Trackday booked through their website (135), the 2nd is a VJMC day booked through them (130 including a years VJMC membership), on the 2nd they're also allowing Italian bikes over 15 years old, CBT bikes have to be over 20 years old.

Thanks for the offer of accommodation, I'll let you know what I'm doing nearer the date.

Aah, I might do it on the 900SS if I can get it sorted in time. my mate IanB might be up for it on his VFR - it also happens to be his birthday

Excellent, trackdays are a great way to spend your birthday, I might be drag racing at East Kirkby in Lincolnshire on my birthday this year.

Cadwell Looks tempting for a ride on the Le Mans, although I've never done a trackday and I would be riding there and back. Are you allowed on the track with a tent and sleeping bag strapped to the back?

    Only if they're ACU approved.

In seriousness, if you go in Novice group you can pootle round as slow as you like, last year there was a guy going round on an RD200 (there was a bloke in Superbike group on a Z1300 getting in everyone's way as well), your tent and sleeping bag will be safe in the pits, if you want anything kept safe it can be locked up in my car.

Well as I havn't got a tent anyway I'm looking at B&Bs seems to be quite a few around there. Ride up Friday the twisty way, stay overnight, track Saturday and then ride home. I used to go to Cadwell a far bit on my old Le Mans when I lived in East Yorkshire it was always a nice ride there and back.
